I first thing I like to do with the couples I work with is get to know them. Before we start customizing your ceremony together, I’ll listen to you and learn what your vision for your ceremony looks like. It’s good to learn about your personalities, preferences and tastes. My goal is to create a ceremony that’s meaningful and memorable for you and your guests.

From the moment we start working together right through your ceremony, I’ll check in with you. When you need answers to your questions or guidance on things like getting your marriage license, choosing your ceremony content, your processional and more, I’m there for you. After your ceremony, I’ll take of getting your marriage license to the Registrar’s Office and provide information on obtaining your marriage certificate.

I’m ordained through The Togetherness Collective, where I received training from Jeff Maeck. I received further Officiant training by Martti Pajunen who I work with at Always And Forever Life Celebrations.

My over 35 years on local radio, being the Public Address Announcer for the Kitchener Rangers since 1995 and serving as Ward 2 Councillor on Kitchener City Council has made me very comfortable speaking publicly.

I love spending time with my wife Naide who owns the Sip and Bite Restaurant in Elmira. We enjoy travel, especially to Costa Rica and overnight getaways to small towns close by. I enjoy spending time with and being the “funcle” to his nieces and nephews, cooking, sports, reading, listening to radio, podcasts and creating content for social media.

During my radio days a co-worker nicknamed me the Friendly Neighbourhood Schniderman. I’ll bring that fun, caring, positive, and warm personality to your ceremony.
